Terms and Conditions

Introduction

Thank you for booking your training with LUPE Training It is agreed that the terms and conditions set out is the total agreement made between LUPE Training and yourself.

Payments

 Invoices will be sent after session delivery. Payment will be made within 30 days from when the invoice(s) have been sent.

Cancellations

Should a course be cancelled by yourselves prior to the course commencing once confirmed the following sliding scale of charges will apply:

  • 28 days prior to course date: 50% fees due payable
  • 14 days prior to course date: 75% fees due payable
  • Up to 7 days prior to course start date: 100% fees due payable

On occasions and without notice it may be necessary for LUPE Training to cancel a session (e.g. due to ill health, inclement weather, etc). Should this be the case the session will be rescheduled.

Venue

It is your responsibility to provide a suitable venue to meet the safety needs of all those attending and participating in the course.

The full address of the venue and whether the venue has free parking facilities or not will be sent to LUPE Training when completing the booking. Should the venue change LUPE Training must be notified at least 72 hours in advance.

LUPE Training reserves the rights to cancel any training should any of its instructors deem that the venue does not meet the safety needs of the course and charges will be invoiced based upon the above scales.

Safeguarding

LUPE Training is to be informed of the name of the designated safeguarding lead’s name and contact details as well as an outline of settings Safeguarding procedure in advance.

All trainers representing LUPE Training have undergone an Enhanced DBS, which is registered with the online update service. Should you require instructors to bring this with them, please inform the office 72 hours prior to date of training?

Health and Safety

The training ratios set out for courses completed by LUPE Training are 1:12. Should you require to meet the needs of a higher number of delegates, this must be discussed prior to booking as LUPE Training will need to provide additional training staff at a cost to the company commissioning the training.

A venue risk assessment will be completed prior to the commencement of training

All course participants may be required to complete a medical questionnaire prior to the commencement of training (Physical Intervention). LUPE Training reserves the right to refuse a delegate permission to train dependant on the information submitted on the health declaration.

Course participants are reminded to dress appropriately for the nature of the course they are undertaking. In particular if they are undertaking the physical intervention training, clothing must be appropriate to undertake the physical demands of the course.
